Over his 26 years as an owner, he has been recognized for carrier awards such as the 2000 Outstanding Business Achievement Award by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and then again for a second time in 2005, Entrepreneurship Award, Outstanding Business Achievement Award. Other awards were Truck Graphics Award, Promotion Sales Literature Award, and Special Incentives Award. In 2006, the company won the Mayor’s Corporate Citizen Award for his active involvement in the Vaughan community. Over the years, Uwe has been recognized for his extensive charity work. In 2007 he unveiled a fleet wide Crime stoppers awareness program with the RCMP designed to help keep our transportation system secure.
He prides himself on offering something different to the marketplace. Privately owned and his direction in running the company are made easily and thoughtfully. His passion for delivering a quality driven service by listening to his clients is foremost and creating a tight knit and unique company culture among his team is vital. His desire to change the public’s perception of the trucking industry through his moving art trucks program was not only unique, it had the industry and the public thinking how important the trucking industry is to the economy, it helped dignify the trucking industry. Involved in community, athletics and charities which include past involvement with the See You in the Canadian Athletes a charity helping underfunded Olympic athletes called CanFund. Additional charity support in food banks, shelters, minor league baseball, hockey, Adopt-a-Family and the Shriners Children’s Wish Foundation and most recently supporting the Peel Regional Police charity run to Ottawa. Uwe continues his focus on cargo theft crime prevention as well as continuous efforts in different charity sponsorships.
